I learned today of the terrible news that the infant sibling of twin classmates of my little girl sustained serious burns over the weekend when he pulled over a boiling pot of water. The little guy burned over 30 percent of his body, including his face. He’s only 10 months old. His mother and I volunteer together at “library time,” and she is a lovely person. I am heartbroken for her and her husband. Please say a prayer for baby David and his family. He is in the hospital, where he has already undergone several surgeries. I don’t know the prognosis at this point.

Oh my goodness! That is horrifying! David will definitely be in my prayers and thoughts and hopes. My heart goes out to him and his family. I just cannot imagine the anguish.
